DASH service will resume on Monday, August 23. The DASH will operate from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with trips leaving the Robert K. Pfaff Transit Center every 10-15 minutes.

FREE RIDES TO COVID-19 VACCINATIONS

METRO is providing free transportation to and from COVID-19 vaccination appointments and/or sites on all services, including fixed-route, demand response, and Northcoast Express. Digital or printed proof of a same-day, scheduled COVID-19 vaccine appointment or pop-up event flier is required to receive free fares.

This service is made possible through a partnership with the Ohio Department of Transportation's Rides for Community Immunity program.

FACE COVERINGS

Per the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), face coverings are required on all METRO buses/vehicles and inside METRO buildings and facilities, such as the Robert K. Pfaff Transit Center. This mandate is effective until March 18, 2022. You must wear a face covering to enter a METRO building or board METRO buses/vehicles!

Face coverings are not required in open-air conveyances or while in outdoor areas at transportation hubs, per the TSA and Centers for Disease Control (CDC). (“Outdoors” refers to any open-air area.)

While passengers are no longer required to wear face coverings outdoors on conveyances or outdoors at transportation hubs, CDC continues to recommend people who are not fully vaccinated wear face coverings in these areas to protect themselves and others.

SAFETY INITIATIVES REGARDING COVID-19

Safety is METRO's number one priority. As such, METRO is working diligently to ensure the safety and well-being of its passengers and team members in light of COVID-19 (coronavirus).

METRO is working closely with numerous organizations to ensure we are taking the proper steps to prevent the spread of germs.

We have switched to stronger cleaning solvents. Our Vehicle Detailers are stationed at the Transit Center to clean and disinfect bus interiors throughout the day, focusing on stanchions, handrails, and fareboxes. In addition to the daily cleaning of our fleet, Vehicle Services is also performing extra scrubs on buses.

METRO encourages the public to follow the CDC guidelines for illness prevention, including washing hands often and avoiding touching your face. For more information on coronavirus, visit the CDC website.
