METRO RTA, located in Akron, Ohio is seeking a transit service planner to work cooperatively with other staff, consultants and outside organizations to design and implement transit services, related facilities and/or programs.
The successful candidate will analyze the performance of METRO’S existing fixed-route services, identify and plan needed changes, prepare technical memoranda and reports including those for regulatory compliance and grant funding, conduct surveys and public outreach, provide customer service, and other duties as assigned. To qualify, you must have a four-year college degree, two years of relevant professional experience, and a valid Ohio driver license with no more than two points with in the past two years. The successful candidate is required to pass a background check, physical exam, and drug screen. We offer a very competitive wage and benefits package.
