The Transport Workers Union of America (TWU) ended the bargaining session with METRO RTA tonight at 7:10 p.m. without a tentative agreement for a new contract. The TWU has assured METRO that it will not be striking and/or picketing tomorrow, November 4, 2021, but the TWU stated it may strike and/or picket starting November 15, 2021.
METRO has provided the TWU a Final Proposal and requested the TWU to have its membership vote on whether to accept METRO’s Final Proposal, which METRO is hopeful the membership will accept and ratify.
